Stadsgehoorzaal Vlaardingen

Stadsgehoorzaal Vlaardingen

The Stadsgehoorzaal Vlaardingen is more than just a theatre. It characterizes itself as a theater for, by, and with the people of Vlaardingen. Prior to the renovation, it was often called ‘The living room of Vlaardingen’. The Stadsgehoorzaal still wants to keep local people among its visitors, but also attempts to reach people outside of the city using a variety of marketing campaigns. The Stadsgehoorzaal pays a lot of attention to famous artists, but lesser-known artists get a chance here as well. The organization tries to give fresh talent a chance by adding new artists to its program. The Stadsgehoorzaal’s program is quite versatile. It offers performances in the cabaret field, world music, dance, drama, show, classical music, and musicals.
